Jeremiah
Was Jeremiah a bull frog? According to Jeremiah
5:4 "Therefore I said, surely these are poor; they are foolish:
for they know not the way of the Lord nor the judgment of their
God." In essence he is saying "No". So why
would an popular rock and roll band such as Three Dog Night claim this to
be true? I believe the answer is to be found in Jonah 4:7 where it
is written "But God prepared a worm when the morning rose the next
day, and it smote the gourd that it withered." Who would eat a
worm? Why a bullfrog of course! And why would Jeremiah be the
one to eat the worm? I ask of thee brothers and sisters: Why
not? But I believe that the misguided souls in the band Three Dog
Night have jumped to conclusions just because of the aforementioned
circumstantial evidence. Further proof of their confusion is
evidenced in the passage by Jeremiah 8:21 "for the hurt of the
daughter of my people am I hurt; I am black; astonishment hath
taken hold of me". Everyone knows that bullfrogs are
green. Maybe even dark green but not black.
